“Micro-Songs / Music To Drown Out The Sound” is a double compilation album which combines two acoustic-driven side-projects made in 2023. The former, Micro-Songs, was recorded around June 2023 – a document of songs regarding the emotions from post A-Level. “I call them micro-songs cause they’re not really real songs but just little ideas”

The latter, Music To Drown Out The Sound, is the mostly instrumental, mostly acoustic soundtrack to Josh’s sixth form short film of the same name (made between January 2023 to June 2023).

This one is one of my favourite chilled out acoustic tracks, was playing with chords late one night, quickly recorded this ala McCartney 1 (1970) style and rolled with it. So many little moments where things come together, I just really like it. Unused for the film, I don't even know if I ever planned to use it but hey, I wanted it out there.
