something tells me that the penance mark ring can become very expensive as it makes blocking so much easier

I was thinking about using the 80% increased duration of ailments mastery with poison for swordstorm since it doesn't have a penalty for ailments and hits 8 times

You'll likely want a 'secondary' clear skill setup (non-retaliation) for normal map clearing, using your retaliation skills for more single target/tanky targets :_okay:

Retaliation skills are nice because if they are no good, you just drop the skill and respec a few things and voila...you have a really solid bleed/block build

I have got my eyes on swordstorm. In the reveal, GGG themselves acknowledged it was a boss killer.

Great informative video! What is your opinion on the "Arsenal of Vengeance" passive node? Do you think that this node could be a great alternative for enabling retaliation skills instead of blocking? I am trying to fit the crushing fist into my chieftain build, but I am not sure if getting hit 6 times will happen all too often, especially in boss fights

Any insight on what weapons would be good with these skills? I'm personally interested in Eviscerate Bleed, but for any of them what sort of strange influence mods or crafting options would you look towards? I note that Crushing Fist with Doryani's Fist is hilarious damage, as well as any high flat base damage weapon(made harder by not having access to two-handed weapons). ...Energy blade.

Great video. Only thing I am slightly worried about is spamming retaliate all the time hoping it is ready. I think it will be too hard to "react" to.

Hey just wondering if Retaliation skills work with Fatal Flourish (it is the duelist forbidden Jewel note) it doesnt work with Multistrike GGG changed Multistrike to not support it, but fatal Flourish does a similar effect so I think it could work and give you twice the chance for the resets also dmg would be really high

I fully expect vengeful cry to be changed to enemy hits only, but if not I'm using it on my rage vortex starter, hitting myself with forbidden rite at 62% chaos res, it literally doubles my dps from 30 to 60mil

I'm more inclined to my Energy Blade Inquisitor with new shield or glancing blows, DPS could be in a huge range with 8000+ lightning damage

really sounds cool, would love to see a fully decked pob with that. i can imagine it can deal crazy damage. potentially game braking, like doing ubers in a few sec with sub par gear
