“Oh. The suns come up. I should go to bed.” -See new video by AvyCatte pop up. “…sleep can wait another 10 minutes.”

I have been going after all the Triple Triad cards. You have to do a bit of EVERYTHING! Eureka, Bozja, Crafting, Blue Mage, Gold Saucer, Island Sanctuary, Deep Dungeon, lol its awesome!

2:41 I'm Minnesotan. You don't need to sell me on Fishing being fun! I come from the Land of 10,000 Lakes! We got a whole song dedicated to fishing for one fish. The State Fish... the Walleye! (Which needs to be a fish in FF14.)

I've been using this time to catch up on old side content that I've skipped over. I only started playing about 4 years ago, so there's plenty of old raids, the older beast tribes, and optional trials and dungeons that I haven't unlocked yet. I've also recently gotten stupidly addicted to fishing. There's something deeply satisfying about catching those fish that only bite in certain conditions.

"well don't get so excited. You can't git rid of me that easily." I'm scared now.

id also say with tribal quests, some have cool stories, especial the newest ones from endwalker, the one race(we will call it cafe to avoid spoilers) is actually super hopeful and undoes some of the darkness of the main ques, so they have some fun lore. plus if you just felt guilty about killing thousands of them, this can let you roleplay a good character that tries to make up for it. and you can get good materia for relatively cheap, so if you are tring to pentameld those crafters and gatherers, its good to get some materia.

Fishing was accidentally labelled #3 as well 👀. Great video though! I always forget about Kugane Tower; it's still un-climbed for me :P

I second doing the Beast Tribe quests! They add so much context to the various races, have unique rewards, and if you do them in order of expansion then there's a secret connecting questline of sorts between maxing out each xpac's group of tribes ;)

I've done all of these and boredom? Nope never! I will never get bored of this game.

I going to add option 11. Bozja/Eureka. I been slowly picking an pokin at eureka, but in general also mostly just going through my back log of every other game i had wanted to play but my addiction to XIV kept me away lol. X.5-X.0 is usually the longest stretch w/o new content, so this is naturally where i take my longest breaks from FFXIV. Mostly loggin in to keep my house, and poke around at stuff for a bit.

Binging AvyCatte's videos in the background while I grind in FFXIV. Best BGM!

While finite, I've made a habit of undergoing the Hildibrand questline while working on my Duty backlog. I rue the day that I "catch up" with it, so to speak.
  • @xXRoyOfDemaciaXx
I've only been playing for a little over a month, so still on Free Trial. But fishing is the only job so far I've gotten to 70 xD My second highest job is WHM at 61. Fishing is so chill and fun

Your mount farming section is good, and you can technically add hunt mounts to it. Also worth mentioning that apart from the new series rewards, people mainly do PvP to work towards certain mount achievements for the various instances and, in the case of Seal Rock, the Field Commander glam set as well. As others have mentioned, you can also add these to your downtime activities: 1) Working on relics: This can involve farming combat instances or even just doing your books for the ARR ones, and on a more long-term basis, you can even passively buy mats in advance with Poetics. 2) Going inside Eureka or Bozja instances: This can be separate from relic farming as some people get unique items or fragments and sell them for money. 3) Achievement farming: You can work towards specific achievements such as crafting a certain number of HQ items, and/or collect unique achievement rewards like mounts, minions, weapons, orchestrion rolls or cards. 4) Crafting: Whether to sell items to others or to make your own housing furniture, or even contribute to your food and drink stash for raiding.

Thanks for the video. This was something I missed from your previous fun-loving, joyful videos. I enjoyed it and, again, THANK YOU:_avycatte:
