It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the sky was deep blue. In Japan, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was in production and many people were shocked....."Solid Snake in a Nintendo game? He's not Nintendo! He's third-party!" Snake's reveal wasn't only epic because of the reveal itself, but mostly for the fact that it opened huge possibilities of Third-Party characters in the Brawl. That seemingly-Average day something particular happened. Something weird was going on, and it was about Brawl. It was a character reveal, and a full video. It happened. Sonic dashed straight ahead of Mario, he joined the Brawl. Internet exploded, everyone went nuts. Brawl was stepping it up.

To think, years ago, just having Sonic and Snake in Brawl was absolutely insane. Now? We have every single fighter in Smash history joining the battle. Sakurai wasn't kidding when he said this is the biggest crossover event in gaming history. Just IMAGINE the matchups now. It can go way beyond just Sonic vs. Mario like it was back then.

This made my life when it was announced. I grew up playing Sonic and lo and behold, he was undoubtedly my best character in Brawl :D
