Man... This is a rare instance where the level of police work and response impressed me quite a bit.

During the pandemic I fostered toddlers. One precious boy would hoard food under his toddler bed. First thing I did was fill several bowls with chips, granola bars, fruit & juice boxes that I left within his reach around the home. Told him he can take whatever he wanted whenever he wanted it. Then I cleaned out his hoard and periodically replaced it with fresh healthy snacks. Didn't take long before he stopped hoarding. RIP Taylor ❤

Children in your home can't STEAL food. That food belongs to them!!!

I will literally starve if that means my baby gets to eat. Saying your child is stealing food in a place that’s supposed to be THEIR home is crazy.

A child helping themselves to food is not theft. It’s them showing independence which should make their parents happy.

Not taking away anything from what the mother did, but there were signs of potential abuse and neglect for so long and it was ignored. So many people failed that little girl. Spotty attendance, family not worried she’s not been seen, the man seeing her wandering alone in the parking lot twice and informing no one, girl waving to him clearly alone. The state of their apartment shows hoarding and insane neglect. You’re telling me no family was aware of the state of the place ? Poop covered clothes, I mean come on! The father said she looked malnourished at the funeral, then why didn’t he do anything about that?? This poor little girl was failed entirely.

Brianna had shown ZERO real emotions, right from the start. I'll never understand how loving parents are fighting to see their kids, yet these monsters end their own children's lives!

I'm so sick of hearing mothers tell people that the child was stealing food! I do not believe a child eating (especially in their own home) is stealing!

My jaw DROPPED to the floor when they found the Thank You card from Taylor to her mom in the trash. She NEVER deserved such a precious angel who would make a card like that for her. Completely unthinkable. I can’t even throw away scraps of paper my 4-year old made one mark on let alone a PERSONALLY ADDRESSED THANK YOU CARD AFTER THEY WENT MISSING.

My heart breaks for that poor little girl. She deserved so much better.

Brianna definitely had undiagnosed mental issues and also shame on the military trying to get her sentence reduced for killing a baby.
