Our Story Our Voice is a unflinching documentary by Halaqah Media Films. This extract is about Sudan, one of the many topics exposed in this 2007 Doc. It is funny how the media reports events to rally and incite people. Is it really Arab against Black? Why can’t we see photos of the Janjaweed? Because they are not Arabs but another African ethnic group. But the west is very comfortable with this notion of Arabs killing Blacks, it sells newspapers, promotes anti-Arabism, creates more Islamic fears. Promoting inter-African division while galvanizing muscle to stop a potential Chinese monopoly on the billions of dollars of oil in the Sudan region.
