I used all three Paldea starters on my Violet play through (thanks to the gift ones you can get from Pokemon Home after transferring Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet at least once, and these starters have their hidden abilities) and they were a blast during my play through.

Bombirdier would only hit Chespin and Floragato for super effective damage as Fire and Water are not weak to Dark or Flying, rather just taking neutral damage from both types; only move Quilava is weak to is rock throw which is easily avoided

I facepalmed when you got Chespin because Cindquill, Sobble, and Chespin are my 3 least favorite starters in all of Pokémon. And the first 3 just haaaad to be my 3 least favorites. I ould have furious if that’s what I got lol.
