Recipe
1 Cup Water
1 Teaspoon Boric Acid
3 Tablespoons Sugar

1/4 Holes In safety barrier (deli tub)
Lets ants in and out but doesn't let bees in

4 Cotton Balls pulled apart

  • I think you need to use the glue for pests control as a barrier to stop ant from climbing to your sworm trap or bee hive put it in a cardboard strip and staple it to the bottom of the stand or tree branches and wrap it with duct tape from the upper or lower side to block ant from passing underneath
  • I used to go crazy about ants in my hives... but 99 percent of the time, they are interested in the space above the brood nest because it's nice and warm and leave the honey alone. Cinnamon on the inner lid works wonders because ants hate it (but so do bees). Now I just whack them off the inner cover and move on.
