The New England Patriots new regime has made it clear, they look at quarterbacks differently than the old regime. It was also obvious that this was a very Eliot Wolf like draft. Finally, the Celtics got a big win in Miami, while possibly losing a critical piece.

Nick, As a retired, junior high teacher of 29 years, I loved your "ie" example! "Judge Judy" was great too! John McHatton
  • Well Nick I don't always agree with you but you bring up a lot of interesting points so keep it up my man
  • Excellent show Nick! Love the work you did with the WR stats. A lot of folks just need to calm down, and wait and see what the product looks like on the field. Bitching about this draft, is like complaining about the Pats picking a QB from Kent State in round 7. Give it time. If Maye gets killed because we have no left tackle, Elliot Wolf will be selling funnel cakes at the carnival. My guess is, he has a plan. So chill out guys.
  • This draft was 100% Eliot Wolf with his scouts. A departure from the old regime, they needed offense and took 7 offensive players out of 8. This draft is nothing like what Bill would’ve done. I’m confident in Wolf signing a new contract very shortly.

For quarterbacks I have always prioritized cerebral traits and accuracy over how far they could throw or how well they could run. Montana & Pennington are two of my three all-time favorite quarterbacks. I'd rather have a smart guy who has to dink and dunk then a guy with a canon with nothing between the ears. I hope we got it right. Also, I get the media and fans pushing the Kraft narrative but does anyone in the building benefit from the narrative not dying?

IT's going to be hilarious if they take a picture of the Quarterbacks standing together - Maye, Brisett, Milton and the shrimp Zappe 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 maybe they should just release him now! save the kid the embarrassment.
  • I mean Robert Kraft said that in the owners meetings he wanted a QB with the first pick, so its kinda put pressure on the gm to draft a QB. All the fans wanted a Qb of course

This draft was “sane.” Bill’s drafts were “insane.”

Pats front office should follow the teams that drafted LTs ahead of them in draft, to trade for or pick up players replaced by the new draftees.

Even if Kraft made the pick I don’t care I’m just glad they made the rite choice
