  • @zorkchess
Props to Levy for surviving 3 days hostage
  • @ScareTheater
Making an analysis video on Levy being held hostage.
  • @greenglade47
Gonna be honest, I started tuning out the early game and then I went to r/chess and saw someone mention that Magnus/Vishy played a crazy endgame and came back to watch the rest - that was some absolutely bonkers nuts endgame play, thanks for covering this game!
  • Magnus and Vishy smiling during the game says everything about the game
  • @bigjimslim
Fun fact: wild land firefighting actually DOES fight fire with fire, using drip torches to burn organic material before wildfires can reach it, accompanied by a wide trench barrier, known as a fire line.
  • Levy is the type of person to give us chess content even if he is being held hostage
  • 7:10 to 7:45 Levy subtly hinting how he is indeed in a hostage situation and want to be let out to roam free and touch snow, also calling his kidnapper a bad person, all the while the kidnapper's right infront of him oblivious to all these with a camera in his hand. Straight up outplayed him, bravo!
  • 7:56 “if you’re bored because Magnus hasn’t done anything exciting in the last 7 minutes and you wanna click off the video, idk you’re beyond salvation, you’re a product of the social media machine in the modern era” this guy is too funny
  • @chess
    knight promotion goes hard
  • @JohanKarlemo
Levy is the one really showing some crazy endgame technique, surviving so long as a hostage!
  • @ravikr6164
The moment when you know that in the same tournament vishy beated duda twice , aronian , mvl and two draws with nepomniachtchi, one-one draw with aronian and mvl. Un defeated only magnus manages to defeat him
  • @InUteroKDC
I keep expecting Levy to say “they’re treating me well and feeding me” as a masked man stands off camera.
  • @denizium.
5:54 in some cases yes, you can fight fire with fire (usually when there is a forest fire, they make a controlled fire to contain the wildfire)
  • @badpiggies988
I never knew you could salvage a game after your opponent queens. Most folks I’ve outplayed would just resign as soon as I pushed a pawn to the seventh rank with no hope of stopping it (since it’s usually a forced mate after promotion)
  • @OJ9779
One of the most insane end games ive ever seen
  • @maffun1533
Levy just casually coming from waterboarding sesh to give us another masterpiece
  • Great video and yes you can fight fire with fire. It is used to fight bush fires. You would call them wild fires. The technique is called a back burn. The idea is to burn all the fuel in front of the of the advancing bush or wild fire and hence starve it out. This technique obviously would never be used in a house fire.
