BEING IN A CHARLIE VIDEO WAS THE LAST THING I WAS EXPECTING LOL THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING ME AND I'M SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED MY BREAKDOWN!!
  • @-w-Trix
The fact that the ceo apologized first to the INVESTORS within under 10 seconds tells you everything.
  • @izabelreyes3915
CyYu even mentioned how Niji wanted him to completely drop his VA career if he wanted to join. The company wants nothing but full control so that they can drop them with no chance of them thriving after.

just to put it in perspective for people who aren't in the know when it comes to vtubers. hololive also had someone who left their ranks, and was basically part of the longest group they had. because she violated her contract. and the way they handled it is different: -they wanted her so stay, and just forget about the incident. she said herself she wanted to leave. as she didn't want to be given special treatment. -everyone in the company was free to say what they want, but all of them were saddened by the news. -the CEO himself, wanted to give her another shot. but respected her wishes. but hey, thats the difference you get when a company cares for their employee rather than treat them like products.

Once you're on Charlie's channel, the damage is no longer "negligible"

During this shit show, Hololive, probably the biggest vtuber agency out there put out their yearly financial support and it showed that each of their talents got a salary of like 30K a month, completely independent of their merch sales, superchats, and other income. When the shareholders asked the CEO, Motoaki "Yagoo" Tanigo, to be more like Anycolor to make more money, he responded, "We pay our talent what we believe they are worth, and will not be lowering their pay."
  • @Cardboardachi
Important Key Notes: Riku Tazumi (CEO & Founder) owns 45% of Anycolor shares and is valued at probably 1.5 billion dollars. He is roughly 27 years old now. While not always important, it is important in how hard he is squeezing water from the stone to accumulate his wealth so quickly. He bragged about his 198million dollar Superyacht during a period where the company was seeing oversaturation for talent/lower incomes. This 1-2% merch info comes out. And that was all sort of during COVID that he flexed. So, yeah. Dude is out of touch and still has a lot of failures someone in their 20s would have that has grown out of touch at such a pivotal age.

Something that wasn't mentioned was that this isn't the first time this happened with a niji branch. Nijisanji Korea, Nijisanji India, Nijisanji Shanghai, Nijisanji Taipei. ALL of them crashed and burned due to mismanagement. This time it was just given enough attention.
  • @Crytica.
"It's like this company is run by a Voltorb that is obsessed with using the move Self Destruct." I fucking love you Charlie LMAO
  • @mochafurvie
Niji CEO memed for being a corrupt, Holo CEO being memed because he is too good and loved

Revealing confidential documents as a lawyer is incredibly unethical and often illegal, especially because it seems to be an intimidation tactic. Not only should the company be sued but their lawyers should lose their law licenses.

I would also like to add to K9Kuro's claims. In one of his earlier livestreams with VShojo, he had stated that he was originally going to debut as indie, but changed his mind. He revealed that he was in trouble his taxes and owed a lot because NijisanjiEN did not give him the correct forms/documents/numbers and refused to help him at all with his financial situation. Reaching out to many of his vtuber friends asking for help, Ironmouse said "i got you" and asked her contacts, and got him in contact with Gunrun (VSJ CEO) and was able to help resolve the issues. Seeing how someone he really didn't know, helped him out way more than what his then previous company did, made it an easy decision to join. It's heartbreaking to hear that both Kuro and Matara were genuinely flabbergasted that management as VSJ were, in paraphrasing Matara's words, going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of and if they needed any help at all finding artists, VT riggers, BGM artists, etc., and if they needed extra funding for it.
  • @Trialsphere
”It seems that Nijisanji EN has hit rock bottom… Unfortunately, they brought a shovel.”
  • @kuroshiba1903
That image of the CEO is so funny to look at. They called their company "Anycolor" and decided to go with the black and white evil company background
  • A ukelele apology would have unironically been a much better choice than what they pulled
  • @Vexilis
My personal gripe with the CEO "apology" is that he didn't even apologize to selen herself for releasing those documents when he clearly knows that was a mistake
  • @TheWinterPhoenix
Another crazy thing that wasn't in that post is another Niji talent left in December and K9 Kuro of VShojo, aka Mysta Rias, joined VShojo because when he worked for Nijisanji he was recommended an accountant/financial consultant. This accountant/financial consultant recommended by Nijisanji had messed up so bad it left him $350,000 in tax debt. He didn't know what to do because of how bad the debt was and he asked everyone he knew for help. That's when VShojo's Ironmouse and VShojo's CEO Gunrun helped him out. Gunrun sorted out the paper work for him and managed to reduce a significant portion of the tax debt. He noted that him and Ironmouse weren't that close. They hardly spoke but he was desperate and messaged everyone he knew. Ironmouse and Gunrun said they had his back and they really did. Kuro was so grateful he joined VShojo and is working off the tax debt.
  • Heres some missed parts: Mysta Rias was in 400,000 USD (might be pounds/another currency) in debt after leaving Nijisanji. Dokibird stated she spent 200k in 2023, mostly paying off people Nijisanji refused to, and made exactly ZERO profit for the entire year. Himemori Luna, the Hololive Japan talent, was formerly a Nijisanji talent, and was driven to tears many times on live stream under Nijisanji. Pomu Rainpuff saw an opportunity to be sponsored by Metal Gear, her favorite game series and working with them was practically her goal in life. Even though it would have been a huge profit for Nijisanji, they shut her down on it, and then removed the part of her graduation stream where she alluded to it. Mirei Gundou, one of Nijisanji JP's best performing vtubers, was immediately terminated after making a dumb joke about baseball (something about purposefully trying to hit the pitcher). One of the reason Zaion was terminated was for "claiming to be sponsored by companies they had no sponsorship with". This company is the hypothetical "Deez Nutz" that does not exist.
  • @kohakoulov
My concerns, Mysta used to be very poor with his mom, and he was desprate for money so he joined NIJI and he said he was happy he has money now but when I learned that the talents get 1 or 2% of the merch they sell I got concerned if its the same of the dono's they got...
  • @yezki8
The big 3 is now Hololive, Vshojo, and Phase Connect. But back then, it was Holo and Niji. THE MOMENT I SAW YAGOO BEHAVE, i knew he was the consumer of his own product, just like Gaben. I knew Hololive was the choice lol
