I will be forever haunted by the story that Mel Gibson had told of his meeting with Walken. Mel was looking to meet actors that he might like to work with through no pressure/no act meetings. Walken started up a conversation regarding the most sinister types of torture. Mel said he had read a book on it so he kept up with him. He said people that were there had to leave bc it was that bad.

Never leaves home unless he's working and steals from work. My kind of guy.
  • @Locktwiste72
He keeps it real and doesn't give a damn what anyone says.
  • He has a stage precense that's unbelievable, he's that sort of actor that always seems to have the main caracteer role, even if it's just a little role

Walken was at a restaurant and there was a couple seated next to him and the guy said loud enough for Walken to hear him " This salad is good but it could use more Cowbell " Walken found that hilarious. He sounds like a real likeable dude.

My grandson, who has asperger syndrome, fell in love with the video Weapon of Mass Destruction, especially the part where Christopher Walken flew. My little man would laugh so hard and I enjoyed his laugh so much that I would randomly play it and he would stop whatever he was doing and come watch and wait for that part. I would love to thank him for the happiness he brought to that little ones life! My little one just turned 18 on jan.3,2018.

Christopher Walken has this quite menace about him which is extremely powerful. John Malcovitch has a similar style although they are very different. The kind of actors you can't take your eyes off because they dominate everyone else on the silver screen.
  • I met him at my grandfather's funeral when i was a kid, my grandfather was he's accountant for 21 years. Miss you abuelo!
  • I have loved Walken from the first time I saw him in the Deer Hunter and knew he was destined to be Big, not a Star, just Big, he had that charisma and originality. And Talent.

Hes so zen about his career and life in general. I really like that.

He is a brilliant actor and seriously underrated.

A couple of the things you did not mention is, in real life he's a very modest man. He said once, "If somebody were to do the story of my life, not that anybody would, it would be about my wife and me around the house.  It would be like watching paint dry." He's been married to Georgianne Leigh Thon for 52 years. His one and only. His wife Georianne made a joke once when she was asked in an interview who her favorite actor was and she said "Kevin Costner."

Isn't it time that we all accept that the guy's just an original!
  • @wlodell
The death of Natalie Wood is probably an ongoing haunting memory for the poor guy.
