  • I cannot wait to see Pete Buttigieg on the debate stage. He is starting to win me over. Before this interview I was at 50% there. I now think I’m 75% there. I’m African-American woman leaning towards Mayor Pete. He’s a clean politician with a clean past. He went to war for us all. Never hesitate to put his life in danger for me and for you. I can’t wait to see more of this man.

Holy heck! If America passes up an opportunity to have this guy as our president, I'll be very disappointed. What a terrific and clear vision on so many issues. Also, his refusal to attack opponents in the primary is refreshing.
  • Every time I see and hear this man, my sense of confidence and faith in American values returns. It's been distant during the current regime but Buttigieg is the resuscitating breath that revives the hope that we can once again not only make American great, but make America believable among the nations of the world.

I was sold the first time I heard him. I'm 59 and voting for him for my grandchildren
  • @gregh7400
One of the things I like about Pete is that when asked a question, he answers it.
  • What separates Mayor Pete from the rest of the batch is his even tone and temper. Aside from the intelligence of his remarks, his refusal to be shrill is a bane to my soul. I’m 68 years old and I cannot recall any politician who projects such an focused demeanor and calm grace. He is also the least lawyerly in his approach to,issues. His remarks reflect a deep philosophical reservoir of thoughtfulness. I cannot wait for hearing of his cabinet choices. We absolutely need his instinct for clarity over popularity. He has my vote and support.
  • In my 56 years I've heard a lot of politicians but I have never heard a politician say the things this guy says with a straight face and actually mean it. This guy is a breath of fresh air and I think we need a guy like this in the Whitehouse. I just don't think we can take another 4 years of what we've got now.
  • @aaskyboi
What a breath of fresh air! Mayor Pete definitely has my vote.
  • @TrishTruitt
PresidentPete2020! Pete is the most articulate, direct candidate we have. I've watched him several times and I love the way he not only answers questions directly, but it's obvious he's thought about that answer in depth.
  • @mindfulskills
He absolutely slams every single question out of the park without ever losing his preternatural calm. This is the most lucid man in politics today, and we would be lucky to have him as president.
  • @PW-kf1kw
Brilliant interview. Mayor Pete is absolutely amazing! His answers are thoughtful and well articulated. He inspires confidence. He has my vote!
  • @heyfunny3036
Thoughtful, insightful, knowledgeable and articulate. He's a very impressive man, and he has my vote.
  • @Kiwi_Dave
Intelligent, coherent sentences and actually answers questions with an actual opinion. Wow.
  • @PomsThree
The first time I heard Mayor Pete speak at length about his beliefs, I was taken back to Barack Obama's keynote speech at the Democratic Convention in 2004. I KNEW he'd be president, and sooner rather than later. I feel the same way now. I want a better America for my four granddaughters, and the elderly candidates running for president won't be around for it. We need Pete Buttigieg NOW.
  • @tigertiger1699
This guy seems like he is already a great compassionate leader..., certainly in the mould of what all of our nations need as leaders
  • @dyzmom
I'm pushing 80 and am so impressed by this incredibly clear-thinking and articulate 37-year-old presidential candidate
  • I just want to listen to him forever. He is so calm, so brilliant, so damn right. The absolute best person for America.
  • Did you notice that when the reporter interrupted him (she seemed to enjoy doing that a lot) that he stopped talking and listened to what she was saying. He knows how to listen and he knows how to answer the question that is asked. He doesn't tend to change the subject to something that he wants to talk about.
