The stage is set for WWE and its fans. Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest will clash at WWE Clash at the Castle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with thousands of loving Scottish fans in attendance. But former WWE Head Writer Vince Russo doesn't think that it's McIntyre's time yet. And this is because he predicts that CM Punk will come down to Scotland and cost McIntyre his big moment. "Who needs the title the most?". If someone need a title to get over, then that person should not be champion.

Gunther has already earned a spot for the title at summerslam. So punk vs drew at summerslam for raw title can't happen.

Priest needs the title because WWE waited until he was champion to start letting him talk to build character and show any personality. As for Drew, he and Punk have built a damn entertaining feud and it’ll be interesting to see what they do with Clash At The Castle. If McIntyre doesn’t win, it’ll hurt his character credibility because WWE tends to make him look like he can’t win big matches when the pressure is on. If Punk screws Drew out of the title it’ll add to their feud but bury Drew. And if Priest loses the title, then his win at WM 40 was kinda pointless. WWE have kind of put themselves into a no win situation.

i agree like how many times is DREW gonna drop the ball. I LIKE Drew as a heel! if it keeps happening how many names can you add to his list? i also thought hey why wouldnt punk WANT a title match? he wouldn't help him win but why not let him so you can get your shot later? taking it off priest wont kill him maybe build up something for MITB? what if someone from JD won that would be hilarious. or went for the match priest would wonder why? there's angles to take.

Drew will win. The screw will happen on the rematch on Raw where Damien becomes the 2 time. But I also think if Drew get's screwed at Clash it won't be Punk it will be Seamus.

It's obvious he's going to lose. There's no way they're taking the title off of Priest this soon. The only way it happens is if Balor and JD screw him and join forces with Drew(and Sheamus and either Lyra or Piper) to form a "Great Britain" faction

Drew, LA Knight and Chad. The top 3 of being amazing future champions but always falling short. We've been waiting for every single one of them. I feel like LA is taking it from Logan soon tho.

You guys completely overlooked the fact GUNTHER is the challenger for summer slam for the title already which implies Drew loses the big one , another point is Drew is literally the hottest guy on the roster for the same reason you say he would lose stem I think being in the feud with punk will overshadow him losing this match especially down the line , my only logic is Drew has too absolutely has too go over on punk which is odd being that punk will lose his first singles match back but if anyone can recover from that it’s punk . So yeah .

What if Fin Balour & McDonagh turn on Damien Priest and cost him the title & Drew McIntyre joins the Judgment Day or they split up due to something like that happening?
