GW to Ad Mech Players: We know your army is completely fucked and that last time we specifically said we needed to wait for more data but how about instead of solving anything you pay us some more money for some additional boxes of models you know you won't be able to use in 3 months because we've already said the goal is to get the points back up and make the army stronger individually.

I think it was the Poorhammer Podcast (though correct me if wrong) that said "GW are a half a billion dollar company still acting like they're a mom and pop shop" and honestly this kinda behaviour proves it Then you look at their social media and other behaviour only a greedy corporate board could be capable of over the past 5 years and remember they really are a half a billion dollar company obsessed with greed.

what admech need are 1. Doctrina Imperatives needs to buff melee 2. several units need more AP and damage in their weapon profiles 3. Cohort Cybernetica needs to be entirely rewritten 4. most units need to go up in points so we aren't forced to play hoardmech (notable exemptions are Caul and robots) 5. go back to being a BS 3+ army

The small thing that the point changes are not specifically listed for 40k but are for the AoS changes really shows the difference in how the two games are run

IIRC at the start of the edition GW said they were going to do these point adjustments 4 times a year and rules adjustments every other time. Problem is that Eldar and Devastating Wounds spam was so terrible at the start that they had to do out-of-schedule rules changes in September.

Bricky is right about Phoenix Lords and Aspect Warriors being the coolest part of eldar. I too love Kharandras and the Scorpions. If only Kharandras actually gave his Scorpions a buff instead of just himself and if only the Scorpions had AN ACTUAL FUCKING ABILITY THAT WASNT TIED TO THEIR WARGEAR. Also the “Stealthiest aspect” doesn’t have Stealth. Because fuck you.

As someone who just got into 40k collected a bondsman based knight army and deathwatch I’ve lost all will to paint them anymore

I'll fill in for the numbers for the custodes: Trajann went down by 10 Blade Champion went down 10 Aleyz went down 5 Valerian went down by 5 Venerable Contemptor Dreadnought went down 15 The reason why everything is green is because the "most recent" points were those in the codex.
