It's free; I've got 24k+ free downloads available on bandcamp, so I may as well use some of 'em!
I was a little iffy on remixing anything since I prefer to do my own thing most of the time, not to mention the original theme is pretty simplistic, but I found a bunch of stuff I could do with it to make it a bit less repetitive and keep the riff interesting.
Hopefully, at least.
I do really like how intimidating the original is, and I wanted to keep that same factor evident in this, but being that my rendition doesn't play in-game, I wanted to see if I could convey an encounter with dynamic and tonal shifts.
Maybe it worked, maybe it didn't -- that's for you to decide!

I've been taking on commission work for small indie games to help pay for stuff since my work hours got cut, so there'll surely be more to come (no links to the games available at the time; sorry).
I've been doing a little better in spirits and in finances, but I'm a long way from where I need to be, so here's hoping this is just the beginnings of something great.

I like how people are scared of guardians until they 1.learn that they can parry the beam 2. Get the hylian shield or really any durable shield At that point we just see guardians as free loot

10000 years ago the Shiekah Tribe managed to seal away Calamity Ganon using an army of autonomus soldiers known as Guardians. Combining advanced computer and robotic technology with sophisticated magic, they were able to take Ganon by surprise. Generations later with the King taking the ancient prophacy seriously, the old guardians were dug up and got to function again. The Kingdom of Hyrule thought they could use this old technology to seal Ganon away once more. They were wrong. With a few hundred lines of code and a bit of dark magic, Ganon was able to hijack these automated machines and turn them against the entire Kingdom. All of Central Hyrule was completely destroyed, the kingdom left in ruins. There were no survivors except a few people who managed to make it out of the region in time. Most of the Royal Family exterminated. Only Zelda remained. Her last hope was placed in regenerative stasis at the Shrine of Resurrection.

There was a scrapped design of a much larger, fortress like Guardian with many cannons, probably intended as a mini boss. If that terror had somehow made it into the final game. . . THIS should have been it's theme.
