Foreign policy has always been a domestic issue. All money to cause death and destruction deprives us of critical resources at home. What our government does to people overseas comes back to us in the form of militarized police and the largest prison population on earth. In this particular case, the IOF trains with our militarized police forces.

Nobody says America first means "America Alone", that is absolutely bonkers. What it means is we put our country first when it's comes to making sure we Americans are fully taken care of. Once that is secured then we can and have the resources to "mother" the rest of the world. The financial responsibility needs to fall on the countries as individuals. We should never be the be all end all when it comes to providing funding to the outside world.
