I always thought that this must have been the most perfect cast of any Broadway play, which we will never see again….Julie Andrews, Richard Burton and Robert Goulet. Must have been magical to watch.

My folks took me to see Camelot on my 13th birthday. I was entranced. That was 1963. Now I am 73, and look at what this simple folk is doing tonight. He's watching Camelot on YouTube.

I saw Camelot on Broadway in 1961 with the greatest cast of Richard Burton, Julie Andrews, Robert Goulet and others. It was wonderful beyond belief. I loved it then and I love it now. It is one of my most beautiful and loved memories. 5:08

No other actors have ever performed Camelot as splendidly as Julie Andrews and Richard Burton. Two very talented performers indeed.

When RB breaks out in dance, I smiled from ear to ear. Magical.

I remember watching this when it was on Ed Sullivan. I was 8.
  • The new version on Broadway is amazing. Jordan Donica as Lancelot is beyond swoonable! But it's almost like a whole new play. Julie Andrews had one of the greatest voices ever.

I remember listen to the Camelot album over & over in my teen years, 1961-65. Such a classic, classy musical. That one...and My Fair Lady. Timeless entertainment. Thanks for this great clip.💕🎯💯
  • My favorite musical with my favorite actors in the roles. Burton has always been one of my favorite male actors, and Andrews of course also is my favorite Guinevere.
  • Two Legends Singing Together! Can't get better that this!!! Two ICONS!! 🥰
  • One of the greatest Broadway stars in history... Julie Andrews& Richard Burton& Robert Goulet& Toddy Mac Dowell. No you will never see thus again. Thanks for all the hard work

Magnificent diction. Spot on intonation. Exquisite vocal technique. Plus! They can actually dance Alas! Would that modern folk had but a fraction of the skills of thems in the past
  • I listened to this on CD on repeat back when I was in high school in the 90's. I had no real sense of it already being 30 years old at the time... And now I'm here 30 years later, appreciating it from a totally new POV.
  • Julie Andrews' delicate voice and diction are fitting complements for duets with the likes of Richard Burton!

So so good it's making me cry... The film (without them) was a disaster, too sad there are only a few clips & the audio recording left to us now. This is just wonderful to see again.
