  • No way! No way! Did you just made a grimdark audiodrama from a Warhams joke?! You are the collest person in the fandom!

For the curious: no, this isn't just fan speculation, it is actually a canonical (if minor) aspect of 40K lore. Namedropped in the narration are the Spyrer Gangs of Necromunda (from Necromunda 1st edition), the 1993 Ian Watson novel "Space Marine" (which features Space Marine Captain Lexandro D'Arquebus), and Matthew Farrer's novel Legacy, the second book of the Shira Calpurnia trilogy and source of the reference to Shexia's Urban Purity Patrols.
  • This story reminds me of the second Fabius Bile novel, as in this story Chaos Space Marines also used to hunt themutants in the belly of giant starships for sport ...

In the Grim Darkness compassion is for the weak. Or the Lamnators Chapter.

Well, that's quite the concept. Would love to read a book on this practice!

Id imagine a lot of peasant hunts are more dangerous for the nobles than its described. I can see it actually honing some martial talent. Take the rich noble and make them a rambo guerrilla.

You make awesome narrations of this series.
  • @Meczyk
So, they like to play like the ancient Spartans :)
