I especially like the part where you finally realize you're trying to make a precision guided missile, and the acknowledgment that those who know.... Literally cannot help you.
  • It's insane to realize halfway that what they were trying to make so hard, essentially covered the basics for a Kinetic Orbital Strike weapon.

7:23 Imagine having this level of knowledge in your craft. That you can look at the physical process (the video) and deduce the issue from the abstract representation of that event (coding). All self-taught and executed, what a brilliant individual

It’s a great illustration of the phrase “it’ll be fine, it works on paper.”

You have to respect the fact that 3 years of work went into this experiment. Mark’s dedication to his craft is unmatched!

The Most Phenomenal thing about this is that this didnt feel like a youtube video, it felt like it was a documentary about a mission with such a high hill to overcome it felt impossible.
  • I'm going to watch this video every time i question my dedication to complete task at hand. I thought this is kind of funny video but started rooting for them after second failure.. Happy for that egg 😊
  • @vko.
The fact that a 100 years ago going to space seemed almost impossible, and now a bunch of guys with an egg building a rocket and guiding it back down to a particular location without breaking the egg being seen as a 'passion project' is wild.

This was a cool video. I used to operate an acoustic scoring system and we launched balloons using the same radiosondes depicted for upper atmosphere measurements to get temp and wind direction for 3d solutions. The data would stream in via another program and at a certain height but after stoping the recording we could start another one to simply track the balloon. We tracked it until we lost signal, which was pretty interesting.

I think the best part of this whole video is how many times the project failed. That really shows just how much perseverance and dedication Mark has to these things.
  • I absolutely never heard of balloons being sent to space on daily basis around the world. Thanks

Young guys like you all allow me to sleep better at night. Any foreign country would be crazy to attack knowing the level of creative get back demonstrated here!🙏💪👌👊😎
  • Es una gran video que ayuda a entender la increíble labor que se lleva acabo para lograr aterrizar en un planeta por primera vez. Vivi cada etapa con intensidad y emoción, un gran video. Que seguro llenará de motivación a futuros ingenieros ❤

Marks video here is a perfect example of "you don't lose, you learn"
  • Those final two eggs should've been incubated and hatched afterwards so they could be space chickens or space Avians.

Awesome job from start to finish 💯
