Even when he’s not acting, he’s still Tony Stark. Even when he is playing Stark, he’s just being himself. RDJ is the closest thing to Stark we have personality wise and it’s amazing to see.

Imagine back in the day, during that time, all the actors ignoring these roles because it's a superhero movie and they didn't think it would make enough profit. 10 years later everyone is trying to join the MCU because these legends gave us the perfect 10 years of journey

Iron Man 2008 had the BEST suits. Practical always looked better than the cgi suits we got in later movies.

I am so happy I found this video, I had originally thought that all of the suits were CGI. So learning that the first few suits, my favorite ones in the series, were physically built for production is a delight to hear.

Seeing this shot before 2008, RDJ already foreshadowing his concern of his aging impact on acting performance. But he still continued until Endgame, and he was right about the CGI. Such a great personality. RDJ, we love you, 3000.

This movie and everything about it is perfect, the effects and story were 10/10 I wish it stayed this way.

very heartwarming watching this, knowing it was the last year Stan Winston was around, and just hearing the passion still in his voice when he talks. He was a great legend for movie magic in Hollywood. :)

They involved RDJ at just the right age so that by the time Tony Stark’s story came to a close, you could see how he had aged and see how he was ready for it to finally be over.

There's nothing wrong with using CGI, especially when the effects are impossible to make, but there's just something about using practical models and effects like this that just makes it feel so real. This process of prototyping and designing feels just like what Tony did in the movie to make the suit.
