We’ve seen many great stars come and go in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While we’ve taken the time to dissect their character arcs and occasionally their heroic sacrifices, today we’re going to talk about something different. We’ll take a look behind the scenes at what it was like to be on set for last day of filming on films like Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War. Robert Downey Jr. had an extremely emotional time saying goodbye to everyone, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t resnt coming back for a reshoot to get that “I am Iron Man” line in. Chris Evans’ Captain America is still alive, but that didn’t stop this star’s mother from having a strong reaction to the fate of Steve Rogers. Even though Scarlett Johansson will be back as Natasha Romanoff in the Black Widow movie, there’s no denying that scene on Vormir was the end of an era. The roles of Josh Brolin and Idris Elba ended during the Infinity Saga, yet they’re both eager to find their ways back into the MCU, and hope it happens as soon as possible!

Do you think these characters are really gone for good, or are they likely to pull the classic comic book move of coming back through some kind of convoluted means? I remember watching infinity war & endgame back when corona was just a beer
  • Who wants the avengers back 🥺💗 I need iron man,and captain and also Natasha

Natasha keeps everyone together after the snap. Her scene when she opened up to Captain America after the meeting was really good. Her impact on the team is somehow underrated. She got nothing but dark past, no superpower. Only fighting skill and selfless heart. She took the team as her family. She got no one.

If you replace Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson I ain't watching no more marvel or avengers. Literally, all actors are made for these roles. Can't replace them.

Robert downey jr also filmed his last scene " I am IRON MAN" at the same spot where he first shot his IRON MAN scene back in 2008...!!!

This string of Marvel movies will go down in cinematic history As one of the greatest Story arcs ever stitched together. So many different writers producers and directors, to have it all come together, is amazing.

I just love how Josh Brolin is such a great addition that the Marvel universe cast him TWICE in major roles.

I played a dead Asgardian in the beginning of Infinity War (right next to where Thanos is dragging Thor) in April 2017 and was there for Tom Hiddleston's "last day." They had a little celebration for him portraying Loki. He even got emotional and made a speech about it being an honor to play Loki and sad he wouldn't again. I wonder if it was not decided at the time to have him in Endgame and subsequently the Loki series. He had to come back to play Loki in Thor Ragnarok reshoots that summer, anyway, for which I was also there playing the same Asgardian. So, that day on Infinity War wasn't actually his last day as Loki. Furthermore, Idris Elba's stunt double portrayed him getting stabbed by Thanos. Maybe he actually came back to film a close up or something at some point, I don't know, or if his face was digitally put on the stunt double. It was filmed at what was once Pinewood Studios Atlanta in Fayetteville, GA (now Trilith Studios) and Tom Hiddleston actually gave me a donut one morning when we all had to gather in one stage building because of a tornado warning. That was awesome! The Guardians of the Galaxy's ship was in there and I walked in it.
  • I loved the part where older Cap went, “I can do this all day” and present Cap was like, “yeah I knowww”

    Rest In Peace Chadwick ✊🏿😔

Each actor chosen for character is absolutely apt. It's just perfect, can't imagine another Tony Stark not played by Robert Downing Jr nor Pepper Pot by Paltrow. 🙏
