Ash and Goh crushing on each other made me undergo a major revelation ... What if all this time, the reason why Ash was seemingly oblivious to romance ... was because he was actually into guys 💀. Which would also explain his unresponsiveness to Serena's kiss ... he still appreciates it but doesn't make anything off it.

So fun fact, Goh was purposefully designed to look androgynous, which is probably why some people in the comments thought he was a girl at first Another fun fact, I’m pretty sure they wanted to make this ship canon but due to Pokémon airing internationally, they couldn’t directly show it/have it as a plotpoint, so it’s merely implied throughout… a decent amount of the series, lol
