HIGH SPEED BULLET TRAIN Beijing to Shanghai: An amazing ride at 350 kmh. I try a shake test on board

Published 2019-08-28
** Quite a few people have said the crossing described at the Yellow River is wrong because the river isn't wide enough. The footage was shot just before arriving at Jinan West station. Looking at Google satellite imagery, the river is crossed at a narrow point of the river, with just a 3-span bridge around 950m long, so I think the title used in the video is correct. ** I do appreciate your comments!

Come and enjoy a first class ride on a first class train. China's high-speed line from Beijing South to Shanghai Hongqiao at 350 kmh. I try a shake test at top speed and can't believe how smooth the ride is.

  • What the Chinese have been able to accomplish in the past decade with their rail infrastructure is one of the marvels of the modern world. That view is spectacular.

This Fusing Hao Train, exactly the same, Thailand signed the contract with China already, now we under construction.🇹🇭❤🇨🇳👍👍👍👍👍

The technology China purchased from Germany as someone mentioned below was like 15-20 years ago. The technology shown in this video is 2-3 generations forward than the purchased German tech. This one was developed and designed by China independently, better than any existing German railway and train

tried it a few days ago from shanghai to beijing and back as well and i loved it, very impressive, quick and clean :)

I am happy I was there for 9 years and 4 months. China is totally different from what the western world media report. Love the country and the people. 🇨🇳🇻🇺
  • In China most of the railway station resembles an airport. The smart uniform of the train attendant looks like an air stewardess. The train were engineered and made in China with the latest Chinese technology. I once rode from Beijing to Tianjin, very clean and smooth journey.

Fun fact: Sir you failed to acknowledge that you just travelled on the World longest bridge. The Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge within an hour out of Shanghai is 164.8km long. You also went on the 3rd longest, the Cangde Grand Bridge which is 115.9 km long, the 4th longest, the Tianjin Grand Bridge at 113.7km long and the 6th longest the Beijing Grand Bridge at 48.2km long.

Travelled the same route in my recent visit in June19 on 1st class. I must say i was impressed with the comfort and speed of only 4hrs 55mins from Beijing to Shanghai.

That coin and water bottle stability test is really impressive

Folks everything you see in the video is 100% real. The high speed trains are a pleasure to travel around China on. The trains and the stations are modern, clean and comfortable. And SAFE.

I am watching this video on China High Speed Train . Lol
  • I have been to China too and yes I was amazed by the train infrastructure , the speed of the construction of the total train network blew me away. I have to say the 350km/hour does not feel like you are travelling at that speed. The Shanghai city down town at night is amazing too, the Maglev train is the future for trains. Japan and China are building some more to make connections between some cities faster. The full day of travel does take it out of you , yes its hot & sticky for a westerner especially when you are on the underground, I do love Shanghai but I often wonder whats going to happen when sea levels rise. Excellent video brought back some happy memories of China.
  • Many are talking about trains. But the most vital part is building the railways.China is absolutely No.1 and dominant in building the best railways. That's why high-speed trains' performances get systematically enhanced in China.
  • Hope more and more western friends can just get rid of the their media, to feel the beauty of China and people on their own. It would be so nice to abandon prejudice
  • @MikeWMiami

I appreaciate that you make an effort to put Pinyin and explain the scenery along the route. It shows that you appreciate our culture and is making an effort to understand it for what it is. I am glad there are people like you sharing first-hand true experience in China for just what it is, without any filter.
