I could imagine Yvraine getting really excited when Roboute invites her to his quarters to "show her something that he has never shown anyone." Only to find out it's his ultra collection of stamps. Which makes her want him more because she all about that Boy Scout energy.

my favorite guilliman moment is honestly just when him and his dad go on a hunting trip, and his dad gets hurt, and guilliman realizes that he's going to outlive his dad and just feels really sad, and his dad says its going to be alright. Its a little thing but its great.

I get now why everyone hates Guilliman. Because he's the only f***ing competent leader of all the primarchs. Guilliman: Ah, yes and what about supply lines? Everyone Else: F***ing nerd! Also Everyone Else: Dies from lack of supplies.

Funny thing is what made Guilliman who is today was the one thing he had no other Primarch had, the one thing that made him human, treated him with the most love and respect, the person who was always by his side, the person who always brought him cookies and orange juice when ever he was planning on invading a planet. Guilliman had a mom and a pretty damn good one at that.

Fun fact, in Canada we have a gas station chain named ultramar. The colour scheme is also blue, white, and gold.

Guilliman's technically not straight edge, he got drunk with those space wolves during the horus heresy and his mom yelled at him for oversleeping.

So he's basically the 40k Captain America. War hero, master strategist, total boy scout, but still a complete gigachad. Then on ice for ages and revived in a much darker and more morally grey era. Also wears a lot of blue armor.

To be fair to the Codex Astartes, the thing that the other Primarchs didn't like about it was the splitting of the Legions. The actual tactical knowledge contained within was all good. But the problem was after all the Primarchs disappeared, people religiously followed the Codex's tenants and left little to no room for deviation, treating it like a holy scripture. Guilliman did revise the Codex when he came back because he was like "FFS guys, you can do something different in battle if the situation calls for it"
