Season and time based rates for prices on our electric out here in Colorado USA. during the day power is almost 8x more than it is at night (depending on area mine specifically is 8x more during day) during the winter the average price is 4x lower than summer prices. every new house built in most counties in this state must have solar installed now even if it gives straight to the grid instead of battery banks either way more and more counties are forcing them which is good.
