BIG FALL AT 4*! | AMBULANCE AT MY FIRST 4* LONG || VLOG 39

Published 2021-06-20
MY FIRST 4* LONG. We bring you another 4* event vlog as we all know how much you guys love them!!! However this 4* did not quite go to plan and it was definitely not the ending we had hoped for! We had already started editing the vlog before the fall so we thought we would continue and finish it as I think it’s so important to show the lows and when Eventing doesn’t go right as well as the good times! It doesn’t always go to plan and that’s ok it’s how we learn from this and move forward!

IMPORTANT: We did not include the footage of the fall as we currently do not even have the footage and myself and my family do not want to see it as I don’t want to lose my confidence and relive the memory so I hope you all understand this.

It’s still quite raw for me and very fresh in my mind and I am still absolutely gutted for myself and Zebedee but the main things are that we are both ok and live to fight another day!

I hope you like this event vlog as I know it isn’t quite like our usual event vlogs and doesn’t end the way they normally do but I wanted to share with you all my journey even when it doesn’t go well as that’s real life! If you do like it please like, comment and subscribe, I really appreciate it! And please check out my Instagram and Facebook which are below 😊

He looked like he was jumping savage, just one of those things that could have happened at any level. Speedy recovery to u both .
  • @vettyw4801
Looked like he was eating the course up. An unlucky landing :( I teared up when you said he just waited for you after the fall. What an honest horse <3
  • The parents worst nightmare when their adult child goes down on a horse. I rode horses all my life. Became a jockey/exercise rider. I am sorry you had that spill. You and your horse are a wonderful team. Enjoy your 3 Day Eventing....this is what you were born to do. I have empathy for your injuries....because I have been there myself.

First and most importantly you are both ok, secondly, who the hell is doing the editing!!!? My heart was in my mouth coming up to your fall, seriously on the edge of my seat!! On a more serious note I have seen horses fall after showjumping 80cm, but obviously at this level with the speed a simple stumble on landing is that more serious. Onwards and upwards x
  • You both looked absolutely class going round, I think the commentators were really enjoying watching you .Scott is way to good at editing, gave me goosebumps! Glad you are both okay.
  • Ashley, I’m so happy you and Zeb are safe and well. I watched you live with awe, the way you rode those tricky combinations that were catching so many people out was incredible and so up in the time ! You more than held your own against the top combinations in the world- an amazing performance despite the fall, dressage as well. And most importantly you are both safe now at home. A huge well done and thank you for taking us on such a great ride (as always). It so amazing to see behind the scenes at this level, the highs and lows. You , Zeb and your amazing family are an inspiration 😘

I'm just glad you're both okay. When you make it home safe it's a win. Zeb is a real one and you're fab Ashley! Love to Scott, your dad, Izzy, your mum, everyone 🥰 and extra carrots and polos and pats to Zeb! 🥕🥕
  • Wow! I feel a little emotional. You are an inspiration of professionalism, dedication and love for the sport. I hope you get well soon.
  • @Katielewis100
I just wanna say what a tight, strong family & team. I wanted this on H&C and even so this amazing editing had me on my toes again !!!! bloody well done I thought you rode that so well, onwards and upwards glad your both ok xx
  • @davethedun3679
You have quickly become my favourite youtuber! i'm so glad you're both okay and you handled that course extremely well- massively impressive and very respectable! xx
  • @patbroekema6721
What an amazing horse you have! You were so brave talking about your accident. Relieved you are ok. I’m glad you talked about the emergency crew and how wonderful they were with you and Zeb.
  • @emmasymonds9856
Wow well done both of you ! You looked amazing I’m sure you are so proud of him and of yourself! But what an honest horse he was actually flying ! Massive well done I think if it was me I would of been holding on to his ear with my eyes shut hoping for the best ! Xx
  • @zetaheld4400
So glad you are both OK. Not nice to see but it's a reality check on how dangerous the sport can be sadly. On a brighter note, if Scott is not already a professional film maker, then he should be. Brilliant filming and editing.
  • He looked in top form, a real shame for you to go out that way but I absolutely know the feeling! Sometimes those simpler fences just catch horse or rider off guard, happens to everyone at some point I think! Super glad you are both okay, that's always the most important thing and I'm also happy it hasn't dampened your spirits too much. Rest up!
  • Omg I hope you’re okay!! Must of been scary!! ❤️ You’re filming and editing skills are amazing though!! Love your videos doll❤️
  • @sipatch777
So gutted for you all, you were smashing it all the way! Just goes to show that however big/small the jumps are, it's the before and after that count too! So brave of you all to post this one, well done!! Zeb is a superstar!! Xx
  • @kb2666
It is so clear that Zeb is first and foremost a member of the family. Lovely to see you both performing. Sad ending to this event but I hope you both have a speedy recovery. X
