As a mechanic I have worked on couple Embraers .. I'm speechless how good and well engineered they are so logical and easy to work on, it puts everyone in shame.
  • So proud happy of Brasil to achieve such excellence in aviation industry. Parabens from Argentina, you are an inspiration to all South American nations.
  • @AlistairKiwi
I'd rather take these Embraer planes than 737 Max planes!
  • So proud of the Brazilian engineering! We invented the plane and we mastered it.

EMpresa BRasileira de AERonáutica I praise the man who dared to defy the 'impossible dream' if developing and making planes 5 decades ago in Brazil, Mr. Ozires Silva. Far-far ahead of his time and tenacious as hell.

NEVER had a bad/rough flight on any Embraer jet. Always smooth and comfortable.

American Airlines flies Embraer for domestic connections. Good Aircrafts

American Airlines placed an order for 133 Embraer planes this month, at London City Airport. 70% of landings and takeoffs are on Embraer planes, as they are quieter and use less fuel... Embraer saved Ilha Airport of St Helena from being closed, as no plane was able to land on the Island due to the strong winds, only the E-190 managed, and saved the Airport, images from this Platform below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXDieYvYrdU Thank you.
  • Took a short flight on E175 ? from Boston Logan to Charlotte NC yesterday The seat and leg's room is much larger than that of Boeing 787.

I just hope I NEVER have to ride in a CRJ again, and from what I have experienced with Embrear the future for regional jet flights is more favorable than expected.

Let's get down to business. Embraer is a small company compared to the giants Boeing and Airbus, supported by their governments. Despite the competition, it continues to manufacture state-of-the-art, technological and economical aircraft. We know that large companies offer much more than their products , they offer financing since many have governments that support operations, political influence and much more to make them buy their products, (even if they are not the best or most reliable), which is a small company cannot offer. But Embraer continues its path, selling its great products, climbing one step at a time.

As an brazillian engineer and professor, I can say that Embraer is one of few things that can make the brazillian engineering proud of, they are incredible. In Brazil, the commercial flights are made by mostly Airbus A320, Boeing 737 and Embraer 195, the Embraer is by far the most comfortable to fly.

Now Embraer need to design 200 passenger jets
  • @AthosRac
efficiency gains are not just about the engines. The plane do have an entire new wing.

Porter Airlines is using these for longer haul flights. Flew in an E-195 and really enjoyed it on a Vancouver to Toronto flight. Those Pratt Whitney engines are smooth as silk on take off.
