Tia-Clair Toomey ran a mile in 5:30.

Individual Event 4 began with a 1,600-meter run around the track at Farrington Field. Toomey — a former track and cross-country athlete — stayed close to the front of the pack throughout the race and on her final lap, she turned on the burners and edged out Aimee Cringle by eight-tenths of a second.

The six-time Fittest Woman on Earth returned to the CrossFit Games this year after giving birth to her daughter Willow in 2023.
