In the past we've looked at video by a mother I consider to be very narcissistic, whose daughter cut contact. Just as it didn't seem like it could get worse, it has...

Diane gives extreme, offensive and far fetched answers to the question of why her daughter doesn't want to speak to her.

Please email me at [email protected] about therapy and courses.

The views given in this video are entirely my own and are not intended to diagnose or to treat anyone.
I have done extensive research on narcissism and the effects of narcissistic abuse. I work as a coach specifically with people who have experienced an abusive relationship. Let me know in the comments section below what video you would like me to make about an aspect of abuse that interests you and please subscribe to my channel!

  • Imagine getting up and making a powerpoint about why people should deal with you instead of just being a nicer person
  • @kmarfufufu
Imagine how bad it should be if we only hear mother's side of the story and still root for a daughter.
  • @SolaGratia.
This woman's poor daughter. Imagine living with such a person for years of your life. She's insufferable.

She's literally out here showing why her kids don't talk to her

So, her daughter gets therapy, finds the strength to go no contact, creates a positive community on Tiktok. Diane "its therapy and tiktoks fault, not mine". Where's the introspection? She's a lost cause

Social media is dangerous, except when I want to monetize the airing of my family dirty laundry on YouTube...🙄
  • Remember in her first video when she said she “wasn’t that political”? Ma’am, everything you say is political. It’s just right wing rhetoric packaged in a way that makes her feel better about her own behavior…
  • We are watching her here with discomfort. I cannot fathom having her as a mother. She will never learn, or change. She likes being this way.

Each time I click on a video with Diane, it's like traveling to a parallel universe.
  • For narcissisitic parents there are no boundaries. "You belong to me son/daughter. You are mine." Once a child starts setting boundaries, big trouble ensues. You have no choice but to remove yourself from the situation for the sake of mental health.

I'm not an expert but I think it takes a special kind of psychology to compare your kid going no-contact with you to the Holocaust.
  • She has no intellectual humility whatsoever and fancies herself a sociologist. 🙄

She is just not a nice person. At all. She tried to carefully curate an image in her first video of herself as a kind person being victimized by an uncaring daughter for no good reason. I’m in Gen X ( so she can’t write me off as a disgruntled, ungrateful child). I watched some of her daughter’s Tik Toks and she is beautiful, creative, talented, loves animals and nature and it seems like she has built a happy life for herself. I would be so proud of her if she were my child.
  • I've never seen her make any effort to reach mutual understanding or connection.
  • The look of disgust when you talk about her nonsense is priceless 😂

It may seem like Diane is living her best life right now but believe me she isn’t. She is obsessively trying 24/7 to maintain a facade. She is obsessing over a daughter who will never be in her life. Try to imagine having an addiction to something that gives you no release when you get it. That’s Diane, stuck on a mental hamster wheel in a state of anxiety she can’t even admit she has.
  • The woman who alienated two daughters thinks she can tell everyone else how to live.
  • @garputhefork
There's so much of Diane's "argument" that I've heard my own mom say. When I laid out exactly what needed to happen, if we were to have a relationship going forward, she insisted I had a psychotic break.

Imagine doing all of this “research”, filming, and editing when you could just apologize. 😂 Clearly she doesn’t really want any authentic relationship with her daughter, she just wants to win.
