This took way too long and was a pain to make, so I'm not going to make a third movie in this series.

  • Loved how the heavy and scout who escaped the first one are at the end but…there’s no way sniper and engi survived that…you…you killed them 😢
  • Endless Rust was always one of my favorite TF2 sfms. I’m so happy to see such a high quality sequel.

I like how the Pyro bot didn't immediately switch sides, it was more like his memory was reset. Only after being threatened had he evaluated who the enemy is.
  • The TF2 community needs to run its own Saxxy Awards. SFM like this deserves recognition for the hard work their animators put into it.
  • If this is your last SFM piece, then be proud to know that you went out with a bang. This is your magnum opus, and it was incredible from start to finish.
  • @EngyneMac
This story got me the chills, I felt emersed in the setting. After seeing the first one and watching them in their "safe zone" and their work together, I actually felt sad for losing them.
  • Jesus. That ending brought forth sadness like none before... RIP Engi and Sniper... You were good son; real good, Maybe even the best...
  • There is a lot to love about this, but one of the biggest highlights for me is this moment at 5:09. The scavenging moments feel really authentic but this scene hits hard. The robot's being heard behind them and the calm but desperate move to hide in the trunk. I've watched this scene over and over and you can really FEEL the robot's footsteps and the power and terror behind every one. You come to a realization that if they had acted a moment too late, they would've been dead, caught out in the middle of the street with a long space between buildings and little cover. This whole scene really sells how dangerous the whole situation is.
  • To be honest that was a satisfying ending for the sniper and engineer team, with leaving the idea for scout and heavy if you ever did want to continue it. Overall, you did an amazing job on this project man!
  • Loved the first one, and this one is amazing as well. Glad you finished it & even if you don’t make sfms anymore I hope you don’t lose your storytelling spark.
  • What I like about FlyToRainbowRay animations is that even a person completely unfamiliar with tf2 can watch them without questions like "Who is he?", "Why is this?", "What is the purpose at all?". I really like it.
  • That was some bloody great story telling. In the movie business we say "Show, don't tell" which is what you really did here. Great job.
  • So sad Endless Rust will not get a part 3. Explains why Engi and Sniper died- but they did it to help the rest that are alive. Rip that Pyro machine too, he tried to survive but died. Congratulations on making such a masterpiece. Start to Finish, it was amazing.
  • @MelonTF2
Words cannot express how incredible this is
  • @Tibor0803
Endless Rust having a sequel is crazy. These SFMs are tastefully made, action packed and intense. I love it.
  • This.... was..... MARVELOUS! No seriously though, I admire any and all creators who make animations like this with such quality. Rest In Peace to the Sniper, Engineer, and the Big Friendly Pyro Bot. I don't know what plans you have for your future, but I wish you the best to make it a good one. Thank you for making these animations!
  • Actually feel emotional seeing the engie and sniper end up like that, let’s hope these two can carry on their good work
  • I like how this has both environmental storytelling with all of the corpses laying around and engineer and sniper talking in certain situations.
  • This looks so fluid, the story is simple to follow and engaging, voicelines were carefully picked and they feel authentic and natural, the flow of the entire video feels so sweet to follow, I've caught myself on a thought that this looks like few high quality legacy pack X-Com 2 missions mashed together in order to create this beauty. It's easily the most pleasing to the eyes and ears SFM I've seen, it's on par with Emesis Blue, the length of which is greatly compensated by the amount of action per second in here. I remember Video Joker from "Who killed captain Alex?" repeating from time to time, that 'You are watching an action packed movie', and your work here is the epitome of action packed movies. What you did here shall echo in eternity.
  • @KaiserFrags
this is possibly one of, if not the best story telling I've seen in an SFM animation and not only that, but story telling combined with absolute top notch animation kudos to you
