The quake, which, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, measured 4.9 and occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Initial reporting indicated that the quake centered just northeast of Barstow, California, approximately 156 miles southwest of Las Vegas.

That wasn't an earthquake. It was a stampede of 200,000 Californians leaving forever and driving to Nevada.
