The Mercury Maurader might be one of Ford's weirdest decisions in the automotive brand. With the Ford Crown Victoria being the number one Police Car in the United States for a long time, they decided to give the public a "Crown Victoria Cobra" of sorts. Using a similar engine that was in the Mach 1 Mustang from 2004, this thing makes an INCREDIBLE sound with all the comfort you could ever ask for. It's a very strange experience, with it's extremely open cabin and plush leather seats - it doesn't seem like the roar of a 4V V8 engine would come out of a car that looks like this. So how does the Mercury Marauder Panther Body hold up? Let's go for a drive and find out! Thanks for watching and new uploads every Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday!

  • Fact about the Marauder, they came with a leather jacket new from the dealer. The jackets had the Marauder logo and name on it. Even stated in the tag "Exclusive for Mercury Marauder owners"

  • @that5slow
Marauder is easily in my top 10 favorite cars
  • Fun fact: if you bought this car brand new, it came with a leather jacket...

Finally! Oh I loved my 2004 Marauder. It was Silver Birch, loved it before I had to sell her due to financial reasons.Glad you finally reviewed one
  • I had one years ago and was very surprised to open my YouTube and see this being reviewed. I loved this car and wish I had the money back then to maintain it like it needed to be. Long live the marauder.
  • Stop reviewing Panthers 😅 lol . Dem prices going up because people are getting to know the gems
  • One of the few American cars I absolutely love. It looks unassuming and mean, and I can only imagine the mod potential. Plus the notion of Ford giving away a leather jacket with it when you took delivery? Wicked.
  • @ahadsdid
FINALLY! Thank you love the Marauder

Man it’s nice to see you do a video of this car! I’m a marauder owner I’ve had mine for 10 years now with upgrades added! A tune, JLT CIA, oil catch can, 4.10 gears and shift kit for the transmission. You need to drive one with a supercharger you’ll be surprised in the power those make.
  • God I miss that 4v sound...imo one of the best sounding engines EVER
  • @ecastoe
Love the fact that you’re doing some more obscure cars. Thanks for everything you do
  • Still remember getting my 04 Marauder in the fall of 2011 during senior year of HS. Dad's budget was least around 8 grand, but had alot of drawbacks and rejected nearly every choice I had for months; no 4 cylinder what so ever, nothing before 2000, no SUVs or Trucks, no coupes, no manual, nothing performance wise. Had to think outside the box cause it was to be also my auto class project, so after rummaging through many Detroit and Dearborn car lots and swimming through the Cadillacs, supercharged Bonnevilles, Impalas, Monte Carlos, Buicks, beat up euro luxury cars, etc., I finally spotted it hoisted on a ramp at a small Dearborn car dealer lot while passing by. Immediately fell in love with it especially how unique it looks; Red, stock chrome wheels, fresh tinted windows, trunk and roof mounted spoiler, gold Marauder lettering on bumper, smoked taillights with body colored covers w/slits. Ended up being little over $8600 including fees and registration with 73k miles.
