The one we've all been waiting for. SkyGFX is one of the biggest and most successful San Andreas projects ever. Not only does it restore the graphical effects missing from the PS2 version of GTA SA on PC, it brings a huge amount of graphical effects from every other 3D era GTA game, such as Vice City on the original Xbox, or Liberty City Stories on the PSP.

In this episode of the Mod Showroom, we'll cover how to install SkyGFX, how to configure SkyGFX, test the performance of different settings and more.

NOTES/UPDATES: -Small mistake at 32:22, the text says "vehiclePipe=Mobile" even though it's meant to say Neo. Just a small mistake with the text, the visuals and voice over are correct by showing and calling it Neo. Sorry about that. :) ----- Support me by becoming a channel member! youtube.com/channel/UCu380rVP4ROJFWWa0cRSnCw/join ----- Socials: Instagram - www.instagram.com/_tjgm_/ TikTok - www.tiktok.com/@tjgm_ Twitter - twitter.com/TJGM_ Join the official TJGM Community Discord server! My man you don't know how important this video is. It's absolute gold mine for original enthusiasts who lived the ps2 era gta. You're a Living Legend my dude. Fellas, let's make this man's work get some respect. Get him million views and subs already.

I remember modding back when I was young, it was so disorganized and messy, now thanks to a few years of experience and also your guides, revisiting modding GTA SA is much more cleaner and organized compared to years back. That and also being able to learn some new technical things about a childhood nostalgic game is pretty neat too! Thanks a lot for your videos ^^

I remember the PS2 version of Vice City having the raindrops on screen as well as the blood drops. It was a cool effect.
  • @schluckauff
The effort you put into these videos and the huge amount of information/knowledge gain I experienced because of your awesomeness is utterly fantastic. You are great :1

Damn nice video, SkyGFX is literally the only mod I need to have installed all the time, it just changes soo much and I absolutely ADORE the orange tint of the ps2. In pair with project 2dfx is a must mod and thanks for pointing out things otherwise would have been really hard to discover by myself!
  • @sbeve6969
the ps2 graphics are still better than the definitive edition
  • @avfx111
The "env" vehicle reflection pipeline uses an environment cubemap to simulate reflections on the vehicles. Just so y'all know.
  • @edward.miranda
Very thorough guide. I really appreciate that you include your recommended settings.

Fantastic! Thank you so much for this very informative video! SkyGFX was the mod I was least familiar with in terms of configuration and this video helped me better understand it and configure it to my liking. And my settings are actually very close to yours except with the blur values, because I think the blur effects gives the game the 90's vibes and I love it! Thank you once again and I'm looking forward to your next video!

Your GTA SA Mod Showroom videos are absolutely incredible! I just binge watched all of them and adjusted my own GTA SA mod configuration accordingly. With the Definitive Edition being such a disappointment, I am glad that people like you keep the game and the modding community alive and accessible. Keep up your great work! :yt:
