I haven't had my Axiom very long and its still too cold here to get out to my gold spots. Good to see some gold being found with it.
  • 2 day long barlttery life on the axiom beat having to pack extra batteries. When i do long trips i just jump off a separate 12 volt battery. I like my axiom over my old sdc, but still in favor of my 7000 on big deep gold, however the axiom still hits deep. I like the axiom for many setting to tweak the machine to your preference

Been gold detecting in Australia since 1995. Used everything Minelab has produced. The SDC is way over priced and cannot handle ironstone gravel wash or extreme mineralisation eg : orange clay domes, ironstone impregnated slates and shales/ country rock. Throw away battery technology is so reminiscent of the XT 17000 duck quakers.

Great video Matt! Beautiful Gold! That clay is tuff to work with! Dan Brent
  • raining here. 92646. i would go with the sdc. even thought the garret is half the weight. ( you can change the batteries). been in the field. battery running low on the gm1000. just put in the spare battery. good to go. have a good day.

You didn't wave the 2300 over that 2nd piece once it was in the scoop.
  • Yes 11" is going to be louder than the 8" if you going to compare machine you need 2 . 8" heads 😒😒😒😒😒
  • @redfield312
why are you comparing a sdc 2300 to a axium price wise you should be comparing top of the range minlab.detectors against it. Any way the axium has a horrible sound to listen to all day would drive me nuts
