Rain? Not a huge problem when you've good layers and plenty of time and good humour. Go you mate..

Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the video.

I'm with you on layering, much better for me than these laminated suits.

Enjoyed that, thanks for sharing! Those Scrambler 1200's are tempting, good to see you doing big miles on it. Not jealous(much)!

Ah nice, I was doing around 1000km near La Bresse at the beginning of the week. We also had a lot of rain, but also some beautiful hours.

Enjoy Brother see you in September, stay safe George

You are a glutton for the Vertical Water Torture Simon, respect mate!

Spent many a happy hour in those rest areas and Continental rain, have a great trip. I’ve moved over to layering this year too, like you say no more heavy laminated suits and with a light weight semi vented jacket I can control my body temperature so much easier. Big Scott fan too, I have their trousers and a Revit waterproof jacket.

Just found your channel and enjoy your pace of video, your musings amongst the raindrops and your thoughts on travelling. Hoping to start doing a few more adventures myself so good inspiration time :) Have a great ride wherever you end up and look forward to hearing more soon!

I travelled a lot with tent. When you roll the wet tent at once...the next day in and outside are soaking wet?? I decided to buy 2 compres bags. when it rains in the mornin you can take out the inner tent dry and put it in 1 bag. Second the outer in a seperate bag. But the plan I have never used so far...because I travel with Booking, the last 2 years🤘🏽

Scrambler is about 160 miles per tank. How do you plan for petrol fill up’s?

Hi Simon, it’s got to do with global warming, apparently! 🤷♂️😂😂👍🇬🇧🇿🇦🏍️👍🍺🍺
