Just my opinion Janey but I feel you should have planted them out further from the fence, the distance apart is great thou
-
Looks great! Just a thought....keep those extra four plants and put them somewhere in your garden, so that if any of the fence plants don't survive, you'll have replacements on hand. I have the smaller "Jenny" 5" auger with the larger 60V drill and I can barely lift it! Respect girl!! You can lift that drill and 7" auger and drill 20 holes! Wow!
-
Give them to Robbie. He's adorable.
-
Can we all appreciate how "Cool" Jason is? Love his efficiency for using the knee pads instead of the garden pad ๐๐ผ
-
I know it will be a lot of work, but I think they should be moved more away from the fence. They need good circulation.
-
Good choice to plant a 'hedge' of hibiscus. Once established and blooming - you are right - it will be 'perfect'. Ha!
-
Good morning, Janeyโ๏ธ 11:32 if youโre spacing 52โ apart, shouldnโt they be further away from the fence? Itโs going to look gorgeous and *perfect!๐ Have a Blessed Day ๐

Nothing better than having my morning coffee and a planting video from Janey before work. It's going to be gorgeous. My arms would be burning .
-
That hedge will be lovely Janey. My experience of growing Summerifics, right up the road from you, in hot Chico zone 9b, is that if they were crowded up against anything the spider mites and the aphids really attacked them!. You might consider moving them out 3 feet or more from the fence, because they also grew larger than stated on the tag in our heat. I only had to move one out from the fence, but it would not be too bad since yours are so young.๐ฟ๐ท๐บ

They look to close to the fence to me. They grow huge in TN and WI. Laura from Garden Answer has them. She could tell you how Big they are going to be in your area
-
Oh, you are tantalizing us with small glimpses of the shade garden! I've been dying to see how your clematis are doing. And the climbing hydrangea too! As for the hedge of hibiscus, are you kidding me?! That is going to be a stunner!!
-
Aw, this reminds me of when you used to do planting at the old place! Great to see you enjoying the gardening! We moved from a town to a farm and the workload here is overwhelming at times. I miss the small gardens I had sometimes! But, I try to remember that there's something to learn all the time and right now it's being patient with myself and not stressing about the tasks ahead. Love these hibiscus against the fence! It will be so beautiful!
-
When those Hibiscus bloom that is going to be one terrific show. I can't wait to see it!
-
Hi Janey! Can you plant the 4 extra hibiscuses around your propane tank to hide it?
-
The hibiscus are going to be beautiful against the fence. I love the color. Keep the extra so if you loose one against the fence with your soil you could loose one.I canโt wait to see how beautiful it will look. Thank you for sharing. Iโm going to look for that variety.

The free municipal compost can be contaminated with persistent herbicides so even if you aren't using it around food plants you should still do a grow test (beans are great seeds for that) before using in your garden.

Good morning gardening friend's, love the hibiscus border. It's a great way to add beauty to your garden.
-
Your videos are making me so jealous this week in bed with shingles wishing I could be in my garden, your giving me great ideas, your garden looks fabulous.
-
Oh my goodness! I can see your sunflowers in the background. Can you please show them to us? They look gorgeous.
