Finally a reaction video in which the top 50 comments aren't people yelling about Clare Torry. It's a miracle. Give it up for Sam Brown leaving us all speechless.

No matter how many times i watch this, when Sam Brown (the 1st singer) screams out, it sends shivers down my spine.
  • I love how when David gets done playing, he turns and watches the singers 👍🏼

This concert has to be one of the greatest accomplishments of all of man kind.

You need the buy the DVD of the Pulse concert and lock yourself in a room for 3 hours and watch the whole thing. Your welcome. Insane concert you will fall in love with every song. They take you on such a journey.
  • Clare Torry born 1947 the main backing singer on great gig in the sky was invited by David gilmour in 1973 to sing the backing vocals for this particular track she was 26 years old at the time. She turned up to the recording studio, listened to the music one time and then sang the backing vocals in one take. This of course being only one song of the greatest album pink Floyd ever made dark side of the moon. She is an unbelievable talent. Absolutely love your channel Lilly, and I hope you get many more subscribers. Subscribed 🙏

the blonde vocalist is Sam(antha) Brown .........she's spectacular ! :face-blue-wide-eyes: all the vocalists sing their interpretations of the 5 stages of grief
  • I got to see them do this in Vanderbilt Stadium May 8, 1994. I took my 15 year old son and and 12 year old daughter. It was THE best concert I've ever been to.
  • @DBAllen
Pink Floyd always put on a kick ass concert whenever I saw them, always money well spent.
  • I just stumbled upon your page for the first time and subscribed ! anyone who enjoys Pink Floyd as much as you did is a friend of mine ! I have been fortunate enough to see them numerous times with amazing seats ! They play for 3 hours non-stop , when it's over you have just experienced a religious experience !

I had the chance to see this show two evenings in a row at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal in 1994. Never in my life have I attended another show that left its audience in such a state at the end of the show. No pun intended, the crowd left the stadium in a state of "Comfortably Numb", but really in a state of surreal comfort. The public knew that they had just witnessed an extraordinary event. Sorry to those who were unable to attend this memorable concert.

Hi Lily Jane. Indeed this is such an emotional piece. Gets ya in the feels. "Run Like Hell" from this concert is pretty fun. Thx for spending some time checking out Pink Floyd!
  • This is what I have requested at my funeral on my way out of the great gig in the sky. Life throws curve balls one of them is cancer but fuck it I have beautiful family and Pink Floyd❤️
  • @SeanHendy
The singer is Sam Brown, whose album I bought in the late 80's. The song 'Stop' is worth checking out.
  • Nice to see you reacting to Pink Floyd live again, Lilly Jane. I'd love to see your take on Sorrow from this great Pulse concert.

I love this version. Love the smile of the last singer as she does the fade out at the end. Seems say- yeh, nailed it.
  • @hudsonhollow
You must remember this was 21 years after Clare Tory sung the original for Dark Side of the Moon. But these ladies did a wonderful job of it in 1994.
