Hey, about the mosquitoes… One cup of Epson salts to 1 gallon water transferred to a spray bottle and you can spray about anything with it. Good luck.

Going solo is a lot of fun - but you have to get yourself back, whatever happens. “Believe me my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.” 115 years later you seem to find this to be true (as I do)...

I’m currently sitting in my house wondering what I should be doing….totally get it. I will be picking up a new rescue pup in a couple hours. I lost one of my favorite dogs a couple weeks ago, so the loss of your Dixie hit me in the feels. Running away to heal is how I view getting away from the real life. Hang in there!! Hanna, get yourself a P-38 can opener and attach it to your key-ring. Convenient and easy to use military can opener. I've had one on my key-ring for 50 years and it comes in handy in a pinch. Actually, I use mine daily in my kitchen. It has outlasted a number of expensive can openers
