Future Plans... Ominous Viewer Question [MORBID]

We just had our 4th of July weekend here, everyone out and about except me. I didn't want to celebrate or seek out groups at all. It felt great to just stay home and work around the yard, trim the lawn, I did a little light landscaping building a small retaining wall behind a garden, watched a couple of old movies, made pizza and talked to no one. I often, usually, work over holidays but this one was free so I shopped & did errands last Friday and then just hibernated .. along with projects mentioned. It was good. What I needed.

I also think that i will be dead before my parents.. or maybe its just a hope. In my 20is was convinced that i would be dead before 30.. now I am approaching 40 and I am really surprised that Iam still here, that I managed to survive all these years of struggling.

thank you very much for the answer. I was especially curious about the financial part but since you already live in a first world country, it won't be much of a problem. I live in a underdeveloped country and people in need are not given the necessary support. thats way im concerned about it.

There was a (kinda morbid) question I wanted to ask you for a few days now. I just started watching this video so maybe you talk about this (maybe I shoudn't be commenting until watching the entire video). In case you don't adress the topic in this video I'll just ask it. What are you thoughts on voluntary psychiatric euthanasia? As far as I know its legal only in Belgium and the Netherlands. Canada might be next to legalise it.

The way your parents exploit you as your brother's free baby-sitter while they can enjoy their life is very cynical. I suspect, they still do not give you emotions you need to recover. Damn, I'd figure out a trade and move out as soon as possible, although it is not that simple. My sympathies

I just hope I will make it to the 40s because that's the age when you become mature and experienced and you get this "it will sort itself out" mentality, you are ready to explore the world and learn more about it but I don't know. Our time is very strange but it might be gen Z point of view because the previous generatiob lived through 9/11 and Iraq war with the patriot act and other crazy stuff going on. I just hope everything will sort itself out at the end. I hope you will be around in your 50s cause you will never know when somebody needs your ramblings, music or art. That's the mentality that I have developed. I may not 'change the world' but I can document my life and convey thoughts to likeminded people
