I'm so glad you did this video. Thank you so much. This is actually a really big problem for alot of people. I have been to the salon so many times and they still can't fix it. It's crazy because I have been told so many times to "bring inspo pic" and even when I do I still get some weird variation of red blonde with golden blonde highlights here and there. It's just annoying!!

You’re my favorite! Been watching you for a while now. You always give off such a positive vibe. Seem to be very beautiful & genuine person. I think this video will help me a lot! I’ve always been blonde, lifting the hair prior to coloring it seemed unnecessary. You explained it so now I understand what was happening to my color at the roots. I was always using ash/blue/violet colors so it’s so frustrating to end up brassy after a hand full of washes! Thank you! 😊

I had 3-4" of ugly warm banding from level 8 tint touch-ups on my naturally ashy level 6 hair. During quarantine, I followed your previous baby lights and toning tutorials (which is what you are explaining in this new video.) It completely fixed my problem! I only wished I had discovered it sooner because I hated that warm outgrowth. I'm sorry to see what has happened to your industry this year. You are a very good teacher and I appreciate your efforts to show us DIY.

Thanks,, I've watched your videos before but re-watching again makes so much more sense. Love your videos. xx
  • Lady you are a LIFE saver!!! Luckily I didn't have to lift my hair but a little 6n knocked my orange out enough to be tolerable or even better. I had a root tap that went all wrong and was losing my mind. Thank you so so much for sharing your knowledge!!!!!!

I am totally comfortable doing this and have been retouching my own highlights since March, but what I haven’t found is a Demi gloss that even comes close to shades EQ for toner. What toning product available to the public do you recommend? The wella toners (that are really permanent color) blow my level 4-5 base up and turn it orange even when I use 10 volume.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I can't say it enough! I finally managed to get rid of those meh orange-ish outgrown roots! And having quite the same hair colour as you made the decisions even easier! I used the same toners 😄 Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
  • I am In ugly warm hair hell!!! I will bring this to my hair dresser and pray :) I wish I could just have you do it <3 My hair has been a problem for me for toooooo looooooong. • Because most of us are doing more diy hair stuff I wanted to mention that there is this trend of using baking soda with peroxide as a "no damage" lightening solution. So, I tried that a few months back and while it Did lighten the hair it was very harsh and it was very damaging. I ended up having to cut about 2 inches off my length and then dusted to get rid of all my fried ends. Not to mention that I had to shampoo my hair and rinse multiple times to get the grit out of my scalp and hair. It was just a nightmare lol stick with bleach imo! Thanks for the video, I trust your advice and you look stunning as always! 💗
  • @StepheBrown
You are great! Very clear, finally I understand! Thanks xx
