And this is exactly why Maguire had his captaincy removed from him at United. What he considers โ€œquality standardsโ€ are nowhere near elite enough.

I hope this signals Maguire's retirement from international football. Complaining about fairly offered criticism (we're not talking about abuse here, that's a whole difference case) is absolutely ludicrous, shameful and cowardly in a professional like he's supposed to be.

Man Utd undeservedly scraped through to the FA Cup final, just like England in the Euros.

Considering he was not selected for the squad at the tournament he should stick to improving his mediocre form which has been a constant theme for the last few years. He should just say it is not me to judge because i was not a player involved at the euros

They hype around the British Doucoure is gettn nauseating at this point. He is not evn a 10

He's got no point. England played awful and should have been out earlier. The moment they faced a good team, they brought it home as always

They keep saying that English players are better than Spanish players but the difference was the managers, wrong. Spanish players are superior to English players in technique and reads the game way better, keeps the ball well and much skilful in manipulating the ball. A typical premier league fan would compare Rodri and Rice, in reality Zubimendi and Merino are both better midfielders than Rice. Yamal and Nico more talented and skilful than Saka and Foden.
