This point I have chosen to believe that the remake is cancelled... And now if we actually do get a remake, I can be pleasantly surprised.

I never thought the 2020's would be a worse decade to be a Kotor fan than the 2010's but here we fuckin are

I'm really curious as to why the KOTOR games are so problematic. KOTOR is a complete game with limited bugs. It has just aged and could probably use a bit more content but has great gameplay and story. It's a guaranteed hit aswell so why the struggle? KOTOR 2 on the otherhand is an unpolished gem. I've replayed that one repeatedly before and after the mods. But we can't even get a good Switch port for it. I'd hate to see these games fall into obscurity but i lose hope every time I hear news.

Its pretty lame how corporate the star wars title has become under Disney, I swear there wasn't so much meandering and obfuscation in the LucasArts era, just good games being made without all this drama.

Guys. As someone who only finished playing kotor 2 for the first time within a year, just play the original game! Its on switch, phone, pc, probably xbox and playstation too. Highly recommend

My brain went to when Disney removed a bunch of their own shows like willow off of Disney plus to save money paying residuals and the like. With the game in limbo at the moment I can see Sony letting specific music licenses expire and taking down the trailer to save money until the game is closer to release, this may become a more normal thing in the digital media as companies look to cut costs. Or it’s something else entirely, god knows with these things.

I follow this channel because of your passion for KOTOR. I too am a person who played kotor when I was very young, like 13 years old (im 32 now). KOTOR is what got me into RPGs and gaming in general and I have replayed the game over 100 times, listened to the ost hundreds of times over the years, etc. Whenever I want to see any news on the remake, I come to your channel. I don't read any articles, nothing, I just come here because I can tell your passion for the game is genuine and I feel like we are on the same page as far as love for KOTOR. So I will continue to support this channel any way I can.

This is further proof that copyright laws have got to be updated.

I hate the license Mafia. They ruined so many Projects whether it was books, games, audiobooks or whatever. It is not for the good of the fans or the creators. Its only for the license mafia to get richer and richer.
