These are the type of interviews that I love - where actors talk about their craft, their knowledge and inspirations. You can tell they open up and are quite talkative and happy . I’d love to see these types of interviews for other artists as well, instead of the typical questions and the focus on gossip.
  • This is like a gift to all Cinephiles. Nolan talking about his favourite films.
  • @rhetiq9989
Cillian is that one friend who you take along to some place or event you’re deeply invested in while he himself is only there bcs he’s that nice to take up your offer
  • It doesn't get much better than Christopher Nolan talking about movies, in a video store. Absolutely excellent stuff, and such a joy to watch. He's so passionate and expressive about cinema. You can tell he pours all of that inspiration, detail and knowledge from cinema of the past into his own films. Truly one of the greatest auteurs of all time.
  • @Iker122
Nolan: "Very depressing" Murphy: "Is it ?.. I love depressing films" haha, me too
  • @pieteb_nl
Would love to see Nolan together with Tarentino in a videostore setting like this. They both are walking cinemagraphy encyclopedias
  • @soniaa6926
Nolan est tellement cultivé !! Une encyclopédie à lui tout seul .. Et Cillian Murphy.. quel charisme !!! Hùte de les retrouver avec Oppenheimer

So many to add to my watchlist!
  • I absolutely love seeing how passionate Nolan is when he talks about cinema. Just by the way he describes each film you could see he's still at his core a student of the art.
  • @rickprime83
you can literally make a 4 hour version of this video with just Nolan going through all his favorite movies and passionately talking about them.
  • @aryastark772
Joyous to watch their professional and personal friendship. It’s a shame a lot of people don’t realise Christopher and Cillian have collaborated on a lot of projects together for almost 20 years now. Nolan is easily one of the best working today and I watch anything he’s done and have been a fan of Cillian’s for over 20 years, long before his fame on Peaky Blinders
  • I'm happy when Nolan talks about a film, he also never forgets to mention the scoring, and it seems he always amazes and focuses on the scoring of the film... that's why in each of his films he has very good sound design and is always intense...
  • @elessar5848
This is a great interview. You could see Cillian and Nolan really enjoy this. They might even have forgotten, for a moment, that they were being filmed.
