What Happens When You Hit MAX Containment Level in MW3 Zombies

Containment levels are my favorite part of the season 2 MW3 Zombies update.

Till you spawn in and your game disconnects 😂

They really need to give like a safe secure or something when you glitch out or disconnect when your game crashes or loses internet its such shit to lose a streak for something you cant control.

I wouldn’t know what being at max containment level is like…..being that the game penalizes me by dropping me 10-12 containment levels every time I go into the dark aether…..you know, the new content.

Ngl, imagine this make it that when you're at containment level 100+, like 120 to 150 your player will now able to have a free pap and rare variety weapon

For anyone wondering, I'll tell you what happens. As soon as you do anything other than the base map, you lose contamination. So, essentially, dont worry about it, unless you dont want any good gear, or are happy just hanging for a few then exfiling. Story portals, and dark aether portals are counted as eliminations in game. So you can spend the whole match in orange or red zone banging out contract after contract, and come out at 14 contamination level after doing 15 contracts. Its real neat, since "technically" you died out twice, once when leaving base map, and another when extracting from wherever you went to. Classic cod.

I play on console and the bugs are really starting to get to me, I used to be able to brush off the occasional disconnect or game ending bug, but it’s starting to become too common. One more crash away from redownloading Cold War zombs

Maybe the real Max Containment Level was inside of us all along.

Also. Has anyone else noticed the containment logo is a nod to SCP? Logo looks very close to the SCP logo lol

I can confirm that going to the Dark Aether or a story mission will lose you a tier if you go to any one of them. Edit: It's a gamble, it would get rid of a tier or keeps your current tiers. The choice is yours whatever you do for whatever reason you go to those areas.

My first time getting to tier three zone and I was going off. Did t realize how easier the containment levels helped.

for those who dont know because of course people wont know it the containment level bug for the dark aether (or story missions for that matter) is a well known bug within sledgehammer's devlopment team, as shown by their trello board. hopefully its fixed today (3/13/2024 as of writing this). but if not, you can see the other bugs tracked via their trello board that ANYONE can see since lego here doesent allow links i cannot post it. i'll update this comment if it gets fixed today.

The containment level system has the potential to really improve the game by increasing the cap level and adding more rewards like greatly reducing the cool down for crafting schematics, improving field upgrades, increasing tactical and lethal equipment count and so on.
