  • Sad reminder that the greatest generation is slowly leaving us. She has earned her rest.

I am an American. I loved Her late Majesty, and thought the Scottish send-off was strong, unifying and most respectful. Queen Elizabeth II is dearly missed, the likes of which will not be seen in this lifetime. God blessed her with a long life and reign.
  • I was in Edinburgh, as a tourist, when the queen died. They started to install fences to close the Royal Mile to traffic, and to prepare a one-way pedestrian path at the Holyroodhouse gate for flowers. The first policeman I spoke with came from Glasgow, as many others, because in Edinburgh there were insufficient officers.
However, independent on this sad event, once again I would like to give my appreciation to Scotland and scottish people. I have very good friends in Scotland and I think that this is a very beautiful Land.
    Love from Italy. 💚🤍❤

Snuck up on me there. I thought the video would be from the last time it was played during her lifetime. Brought it all back to me, the realization that we have seen the end of an era, and the end of the greatest generation.
  • I was born in Brooklyn ny. My father was born in Scotland and came here as a child. I am most proud and grateful for my heritage and appreciate this video the comments and bless all involved
  • SAD TO KNOW THIS IS THE LAST TIME OF THE QUEEN'S APPEARANCE. HOWEVER, THE MUSIC WAS BEAUTIFUL!
  • We applaud as we weep, our hands showing our gratitude to Her Majesty. Otherwise we would burst out in loud sobs and wails. Indeed, applause is much more dignified than that.
  • You know, there was a time when depending on where you were on a battle-line when you heard those pipes coming either you knew help was on the way and you were going to be all right, or you knew you were in DEEP trouble! God bless the Scots!
  • I still get choked up, I can't believe she is gone, she was everyones gran

I’m very proud of my English,Scottish, Irish Heritage
  • Although it was a funeral possession, Scotland displayed it's tradition, love and support for United Kingdom. Together the kingdom stands. That is the spirit of the very British in the real sense. I love that.
May Queen Elizabeth the 2nd rest in peace. She was one of the longest ruling monarchs of all time. God bless you Mam. I love that.
