Stranger Things 5 Filming Update... (March 2024)

Im pretty new to this channel, but so far the videos are really high quality and very informative. I don't know if you edit the vids or if you have an editor, but the videos are insanely nicely edited keep up the good work!

Since there's a time jump, they should just have this seasons new main character be Wills new 'best friend' who, obviously, have a thing. If the highschool set is actual Hawkins, then theyre back in school. Upsidedown battle starts up again, new guy gets dragged into it. He definitely does not die. Look how fast we loved Robin, Eddie and Max, they can do that with a love interest for Will

Agreed, why can't people stop over analysing and changing canological events to fit their narrative. Mike quite clearly loves El regardless if you agree or not its canon.

It is wild that the fans want to force the writers to change mike’s orientation to me. They’ve never had any of the hints or foreshadowing to Mike liking men like they have with Will. Outside of that, I mainly just want to see this story coming to a close in a way that completes the character’s arcs and for them not to do something silly like retconing events or sacrificing people without having it make sense for their character

I heard the very last episode of season 5 will not be on Netflix. It was said the ending episode will be featured in movie theaters.

I don't think Mike should end up being together with Will as well (and Will is my favourite Character btw and I honestly can relate to him A LOT, I mean, besides being possessed and all that Sci-Fi stuff obviously 😂). I just think they made too few hints about Mikes Sexuality being not straight (probably Bi if he would get together with Will). Mike simply has other problems throughout the show and we never saw a moment where one of those touched on his sexuality. The big problem is, that they already said we will not get any completely new mayor characters (though with casting it looks like there might be one after all), so a boy Will could connect with instead throughout the season seems pretty unlikely (add to that the fact that this will probably be a apocalyptic season and that Will will probably fight with his many anxieties). I honestly think the best three endings for Will are: 1. He finally comes out to everybody important to him, can finally show his real personality without hiding all the time and starts a normal life for the first time in many years (in such a position it will still be hard for him to eventually find someone he can start a relationship with but much more likely than ever before and even without he will be happier than he probably ever was in his life) 2. He starts connecting with a boy at the end of the Series, after they finally survived the apocalypse and the boy responds back (nothing too immediate as that would be too unnatural, especially for a character like Will). I think similar to the end of Season 4 and Robin, maybe going a bit further with them changing contact information so they can start hanging out (more like friends at first but with a hint of something more) 3. We get a significant enough time jump at the end of Season 5 that because of his supportive environment and better mental state he started going out with somebody (this could be connected with the second scenario before the time jump as well). But as much as I want to see that I honestly think it would not work 100% because even if Will had enough time with that jump to actually connect with somebody it will not feel like that to the audience because at the end of the day a time jump never feels as if that time really went by. That can only be done through runtime. So, those are my personal favourite scenarios for Will (if he is meant to have a completely happy ending). When it comes to Mike and Eleven I honestly don't really know yet. I think it is only possible for a really good ending if Mike has LOTS of character development in Season 5 because even in the state he was at the end of season 4 I think the better option for both of them would be to start maturing a bit more before they start a long-term relationship. What I find also pretty interesting is that from how I have "understood" this story of Millie Bobby Brown knowing Elevens ending I think simply "Dead" or "Alive and with Mike" are both not the option the Duffers have gone for as the only reason for that response from her is in my opinion an ending for Eleven that she didn't really think of before...
