Hello everyone, here is a link set up by the government of Grenada for direct Hurricane Beryl relief: pay.gov.gd/ Hurricane Relief Fund.
  • As a former disaster response coordinator, I want to commend your efforts in getting this high-quality drone footage out so quickly. If only we had such high-quality visual information after every remote disaster! Data is gold for decision-making at times like this, and I hope your footage is well used by the teams involved. Keep up the good work!
  • This heartbreaking footage has actually been a source of tremendous relief for the family of a yachtie stranded in Tyrell Bay and thousands of miles away from home. His family has been desperately trying to reach him without success but the drone captures him moving about on his damaged boat. Thanks for sharing indeed ! 🙏🏽
  • We sailed by Carriacou last Saturday on our way to a slip in Grenada where we rode out the storm. Last summer we spent most of it in Tyrell Bay and were planning on doing the same this year. It really hits home to see a place you are familiar with so destroyed. The Cruising Community here at the marina sent a large care package on the ferry to help out until more organized relief can arrive.

Thank you!!! This was so useful! I can see my friend working on his little boat in the mangroves. Dismasted but floating! His family will be so relieved to see that he survived.

what is obviously devastating is the building damage, which looks extensive, but is also disheartening is the complete lack of foliage now on the trees. the wind just wiped them clean of green... it's hard to watch and I hope everyone there can rebuild and live happy again very soon.
  • @Jakfilm
Thank you for this. Everybody watching has to pitch in and try to help somehow. The people of Carriacou are wonderful, and they need our support.
  • WXChasing, we appreciate you!!! Thanks again, and remain safe!

You know it's bad when all vegetation is brown and no leaves on the trees! I had one home destroyed by Charlie and others damaged over the years! I feel for all people affected and please put a link for donations!
  • Your service to Carriacou is sooo appreciated! I'm sure many heroes will emerge from this. You are the immediate super heroes. Bless you for helping us see and know. Your respect & love for our friends and family is beyond anything I have ever seen at a time like this.
  • Thank you. Mainstream media never show the smaller places. Excellent footage. đź’”

I pray that they can get the support they desperately need. The devastation is unbelievable.
  • Your drone footage is top tier! Extremely devastating, but the people of the Caribbean are quite resilient and will find a way to rebuild their lives 🙏🏼🤲🏼

Besides getting fresh water and food down there ASAP, everyone might want to check out which buildings survived and why they were able to withstand those winds.
  • Thank you for posting your excellent footage music and noise free. The sound of silence is very fitting. 🙏

Excellent footage... Unfortunately, I was able to see so much loss. I was there 6 weeks ago and made friends with a local musician... His 2 story house is leveled... I was also able to pick out another friends boat, and it is destroyed in the boat yard.... At least I know.... Positive vibes going out to everyone affected....
  • @leftfinned
this footage is obviously intense and I feel for all affected. That said, I must say I’m so impressed with the percent of homes that survived and look barely affected. Islanders know storms are coming and build accordingly and even the boats while pushed inland or ashore aren’t really smashed to bits. I’ve been through many hurricanes, one that was a direct hit such as this and there was literally one structure still standing and everything else down to the concrete slabs…. Boats splintered and waterways blocked. I hope they get all the relief and help they need to rebuild their island paradise once more. ❤❤such a beautiful place

Thanks, indeed, for the aerial drone shots. I can see my parents' house. Be safe ❤️
