For the most part, machines never stopped. Except when a finger in the drum on the header broke and caused a horrible noise.
The straw appears to be drying down. YAY!

Your videos bring back so many memories of a 14 year old green horn kid in 1963 driving truck in his first wheat harvest. The comradery among the harvest crew, the harvest meals, the challenges of crops, equipment, weather and bunkhouse antics. It was great. Thanks for sharing your summer adventure with us.

Your videos make me homesick for northern Montana. My dad was a mechanic for a John Deere dealer in Havre for many years. Memories on many fronts. I'm a 70 year old who misses his dad and the time I spent with him in the field.

Great to see you all again, watching from England, just binge watched days 1 & 2 together, but how scary it is to think it's 12 months since we were with you in Montana. Just makes you wonder who uses all that wheat, keep up the good work and look forward to day 3.
