So here it is, what appears to be the only complete upload of the English version of "Isoppu monogatari". Sorry that video quality is a bit too lossy, but this video's purpose is mostly just to get the dub online. "A wolf's coming!"

To my knowledge, this film has never been officially released on any current medium, even by it's original company, so tough shit copyright Nazis.

I cannot express how amazing it is to find this! I've been searching for this for years. I couldn't find anything on the internet about it, except one page that was seriously lacking any sort of concrete information. I am overwhelmed with nostalgia. Thank you so much for this, you have no idea! I am burning this to DVD as soon as I can.

I have been looking for this for a long time. I use to watch this when I was little, but then my brother took it to school for some reason and never brought it back. I think it has been almost 15 years since the last time I saw it.

OMG I used to watch this all the time as a kid. I actually found my VHS copy of it not too long ago, but I haven't done anything about transferring it to DVD yet. Thanks for the upload so I can watch it in the mean-time, though (I'm a little scared of wrecking the tape/wearing it out even more due to its age, so I'm waiting until I'm ready to transfer it to play it).

Thank you so much for uploading this. Like others, I had a VHS copy of this as a child, and have scoured the web looking for a quality copy. I have a young daughter now, who I think will enjoy this. I wish there was an English DVD release.

Oh my gawsh I love you!!!! This was my absolute FAVORITE movie as a kid. I had the vhs as early as I can remember and it vanished when I was about 14. Still don't know what happened. I'm 20 now and I have searched EVERYWHERE for this. I found 1 used vhs copy on amazon and it was $50! I love this sooooo much
